How to write a story.

Old Paper Texture

Open a text document on your computer. With a blank document, write:

C

C

C

Make sure to have an equal amount of space in-between. Below the first C, write down the characters of the story.

(Example:

C

Jack, Bob, Charlie, Sir Dill.)

You can have as many characters as you like.

On the second C, write down the problem of the story.

(Example:

C

Jack, Bob, Charlie, Sir Dill.

C

Jack is poor. He needs more money, so he steals some from Bob and Sir Dill.)

On the last C, write down how the story is solved.

(Example:

C

Jack, Bob, Charlie, Sir Dill.

C

Jack is poor. He needs more money, so he steals some from Bob and Sir Dill.

C

Bob and Sir Dill make a trap for Jack. When Jack steps on it, he falls into a bottom-less pit. Problem Solved!)

Now you edit your story. If you have Microsoft Word, at the top left you will see a word bubble. Select all the text and press the word bubble. The text will be read out loud. When you hear  a mistake, click on it and edit it. Then, you can add chapters, write some more to the story, and add pictures.
